Avonex would make me very sick for first 12 hours or so after shot. What should I exspect from Copaxone?
@A MyMSTeam Member I have been on Copaxone for many years. It has never made me sick and barely know it is in my system. The shot sites are the bad part. Try to rotate constantly as the Fat under the constant shots dissolves leaving welts and bumps. After years I look pretty lumpy. They will never tell you about this affect.
I have been on copaxone since june 2012. I was having burning at the injection site. When i started the shot it was painful. Now i recently been increased from 20mg daily to 40mg every other day. The 40mg are not as painful. If it makes any sense.
I've been on Copaxone 40 mg 3x a week, no problems. Just a little soreness at injection site, manageable tho.
Vicki after a few months I would take avonex at night with alleve and did good. But my liver enzymes got very high so they took me off it :(
does anyone have tips other than rotation to keep skin from scarring ?
