I have been feeling a lot of MS Similar symptom but as of today I have not been DX with ms which I am happy for but at the same time I am
Still concern about it ... Since I don't see a relief on my symptoms at all.
Question is ? Can a person be DX only based on the MRI lessions and symptoms ... ???? Just curiosity ...

@A MyMSTeam Member I had been DX for 3+ years had never been prone to headaches, then all of a sudden I had a headache for 6 weeks finally went to the doctor and was DX with Chronic ongoing migraines. My doctor said that migraines were common with MS it took about 6 months to get them under control was allergic to Depakote, tried a siezure medicine which made me feel terrible. Thank the good Lord my husbands company changed insurances and approved the Botox shots on the fiirst request have been on that for a year and a half, have a few break throughs with weather changes or under stressful situations but they are tollerable now, So migraines are common with MS. Every indiviual will have different symptoms that is why it is so hard to get a definative DX. You are going through a stage of the unknown which was the worst part
for me, stay strong and pray for the right doctor to be available to give you a correct diagnosis. continue to keep a journal of all symptoms with the level of discomfort, log the time of the day it came on and what you were doing. that will give them a map to help find out what is actually going on there is no two people that will have the same symptoms ask for a total panel work up which can help in the DX. Praying you get answers soon....God Bless.

I'm one of those who's lumbar puncture came back normal but after ruling out a lot of other possibilities, going though a lot of test over the course of a couple of years I was dx with MS. My neurologists is specialize in MS and didn't give up along with me. You know your body and you know when something is not right. Keep fighting.

You should see a nero who specializes in MS. They should be able to give you a better answer and run the right test. I see a nero who specializes in MS and it took 3 years to get dx. She has to rule out a lot of other possibilities. Good Luck

I'd see if you can get an appointment with a neuro who specialises in MS to either get it ruled in our ruled out. My first didn't (MS specialise) and I got tired of being told my symptoms were not MS - was already dx by him - but everything after that he seemed to put down to being all in my head. Are you keeping a daily diary of symptoms and foods etc to help your neuro?

I would press for a second opinion from a neurologist who specializes in MS. Many people were initially misdiagnosed with something other than MS. Ask for further testing. I am praying that you DON'T have it but if you do that you get a true and accurate diagnosis.
