Has anyone been taken off aubagio due to abnormal blood results? If so how long did it take for them to return to normal? It has mainly been my total white count and neutrophils that are affected but also platelets.
Learn more about the drug treatment mentioned aboveYes, I was denied Aubagio due to a low lymphocyte percentage normal is 1.5-3.0% my lymphocyte percentage was 0.425% and repeat count was 0.628%. So my neuro.m.s . Doc. Said, nope, he wouldn't prescribe it. I wasn't aware that it had any issues with your platelets. But yea there,are a couple of M.S.drugs that mess up your blood counts.So whsrs worse? Even though my lymphocytes were low,I was never sick when I was on Aubagio. Felt ok.
I was taken off for high liver enzymes. I did a wash out treatment to get the Aubagio out of me.
Sorry I just saw this. No I didn’t do a washout but it took 3+ months for my blood count to return to normal. I am on Gilenya now. Emma
My WBC count has been dropping. Doctor said we will wait one more month and then I may have to come off Aubagio. I'm so disappointed because I like taking the pill and have had very few side effects. Did you have to do a wash out when you came off of aubagio? What are you taking now?
