Dear ladies and gentleman! Id like to compare notes and experience after CCSVI procedure. I was one of the first Canadian patients that had it done in US. Who has done it multiple times like me, did you get any long term benefit? Is it lasting? What's next? Are you still following up with the clinic that did your CCSVI

Hello I had the CCSVI procedure in Bulgaria, back in 2010. I only got it done once, and it's lasting results for me. I live just outside of Toronto.
I went to India and had it done. This was in 2010. Don't regret it at all. Helped me tremendously. And I was able to conceive and have 2 children.(I couldn't before)also I have not had to take any MS meds since. I went for a follow up scan and I do have a patrial blockage that has returned. So I am looking inot having it done again. Just not sure where yet.
I have to say that my benefits were great! Right away I had a color difference in my legs, they were now the same temp and color as the rest of me. Before u wouldn't have understood what I was saying, now my speech is a lot better. I don't have any brain fog, and before it was very frequent. I noticed a tremendous change in my energy level, use to need a nap before, and now I can keep up with others. In my eyes the colors were much more vibrant! I guess it's very different for everyone, hope this helps.

Cognitive improvement but minor, balance got better, now I got a bunch of other pronlems that I have not had before CCSVI, such as bad weakness and pain of legs, fatigue, which came after, I used to go for an ultrasound every year, no problem any more, ended up having a stent which I tried to avoid .i don't know in what shape I would be now if I didn't have those 3 procedures done... stupid MS!
