When I'm talking to friends/family I forget what they say right after our conversation! I'm not trying to be rood and I'm listening to what people are saying. I guess I'm just not retaining what was said by myself or the other person. So frustrating! Anyone else struggle with short term memory issues?

I have trouble remembering words, names and now dates. Conversations leave me as well. I lose conversations and feel like an idiot. I think my kids are starting to catch on. (they are grown). It comes and goes. I joke that I got lucky, it happened in front of my doctor, now she doesn't think I'm too crazy! It frustrates me more than anything and a little embarrassing. I no longer work, partly because of this and a slew of other ms stuff. I try to roll with the punches and have a good attitude! Some days are better than others! Hang in there!

I experience it a lot. Thing is now, I'm grateful that my close family and friends understand it so when I ask or repeat something they've already said they will correct me. On those days when I'm confused of having problems remembering, my mom will go with me to appts or wherever to explain things to me. It sucks at times because my dr tells me I have a brain of an 80 year old but I do what I can to remember and focus. I'll even ask the person to slow down talking so that I can let my brain take in what's being said.
