Don't get stuck indoors, it is too isolating even if you are with the people you love. It is important to keep moving whenever possible, nice to have a break though! You can get too reliant on wheelchairs and other movement Supports if you aren't careful!

By all means they are wonderful when you need to walk for long distance but try not to use it for every day. I love to go to the zoo and go to the Mall or fun parks with my Grandkids. You know how much you can do for smaller trips I us a wheeled walker. We all need to use our leg muscles as much as possible through exercise and walking. The wheelchair is nice to have just in case things aren't working but you need to go:) Hope this helps; have a Blessed Day!

You should only use a wheelchair if walking is near impossible. After 20 years as a nurse I learned this statement to be true most times. "Once you get into a wheelchair you never get out". The reason is because you completely stop using all muscles below the waist.
I'm not talking about motorized shopping cart that are used briefly.
I personally have used them along with a locking knee brace and rolling walker.
Temember that with MS you relapse then remit or recover. In other words there's a good chance this will get better.

Will be one of the best decisions you can make. Really proud man who point blank refused to consider using one until an ex talked me into using her son's spare one during a bad relapse. Wouldn't think twice about using one again, my outstanding O.T has supplied many "just in case Aids" for me. Don't get stuck indoors mate.
