Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with insomnia? I haven't slept in 2 days, I'm exhausted, I've tried to nap but that doesn't happen either
Medicinal Cannabis works wonders for me. I used to have horrible insomnia - now, I sleep like a baby. Just a little piece of CBD chocolate before bed and I'm a happy girl. Oh, and it also helps with spasticity, leg cramps, etc, as a bonus!
Yes, I think because melatonin is a hormone so it can cause more significant hormonal imbalances. I heard that in a class I took, but I can't really find a lot of info online to confirm/deny. I've noticed a lot of hormonal changes over time as I do things like acupuncture to treat my MS symptoms, so it makes sense to me that it's all connected. Hope more research on this is done!

I have heard some conflicting info about melatonin and MS. Does anyone know more about that?
It's a hard road daily, I have this issue 3 - 4 hours tops. Then I'm in my living room reading hoping and praying that I fall asleep.
Welcome to MS. I think we all suffer from it. I think I've tried every sleep aid out there. Sometimes I will go for 4 days and nights before I finally crash. Call your neurologist. Good luck!๐
