I've only had one that I know of but I remember how I felt before it got bad. If I feel what I felt then, I just sit in my recliner and let my husband take care of me and fend for himself. I think knowing is a learning process.
Thank you to all of you that gave me answers/feedback. After my appointment with my MS Neuro yesterday he informed me that, based on my story (history of symptoms leading up to my diagnosis) he has determined I have a form of Primary or Secondary progressive MS. When I asked him if that's the "worst" kind, he said it isn't necessarily.
My mother had Primary Progressive but was diagnosed in 1992 when there was no real effective DMT's and fewer drugs and/or treatments to help much with symptoms. She did have a Baclofen pump installed in her body and that helped stay mobile for longer. She suffered from MS for 15 years before dying at the young, young age of 61 from complications of MS that included losing ability to eat (swallow), breath or speak. She weighed less than 80 pounds when she passed. He assured me this will not be my fate, as the Ocrevus is very effective and it's simply a different time now for those of us living with MS and all of the symptoms.
Thank you again everyone, for being a place to come and share with caring people that understand my experiences. To know I'm not alone is invaluable.🥰
