If you're able to, after each visit to the radiologist, request a copy of the MRI on a CD. Most places will provide it to you for free.

Learn to read your MRIs, demand that you're doctor review all the MRIs himself and not solely rely upon the radiologist's report. Radiologists are radiologists....they are not neurologists. On all of the initial MRIs that I had, my first neurologist relied upon the radiologist's report which stated I only had two lesions on my cervical spine and only one in my brain. The second neurologist I had actually looked at the MRIs and told me I had several lesions in my brain - I think 3-5 excluding the one referenced in the radiologist's report. That one that I've had for years and years, he and I neither one of us really know what that spot is in my brain - it actually looks like an injury instead of a lesion.

Some people do not have lesions on the brain MRI, only on their spine or thoracic spine.

You must get an MRI also of your spine, thoracic spine and maybe lumber puncture as well.

Most of my lesions are in my cervical and thoracic spine. And I never had classic symptoms of MS. But by the time I finally got diagnosed, I had secondary progressive MS

Yes I agree with what everyone is saying- my first MRIs before I got diagnosed showed nothing in my brain but EXTENSIVE damage in my cervical and thoracic spine. If you haven’t gotten MRIs of those areas I would push for that
