I feel much slower mentally. I have all these big plans to get my law status back so I can practice law again on a part time basis, but reality sets in and I realize I’m not as smart as I was. So rather than try so hard, I think it’s a kinder gentler way to accept that I can’t do what I want. It’s much less stressful! Thanks for listening!

Sometimes MS changes who we were into who we are...
Hi @A MyMSTeam Member, sounds like you are prioritising your needs - keep being kind and gentle to yourself. Sending hugs 🫂💜
Yes I believe if you don't control the relapses with medication and deal with any other physical problems you have it can make it progress. Both physically and mentally. I have several comordities to go along with MS that I have to treat.
This could help you remember an dx take away some stress

Something Iwould like to clarify in answer to this question. I had RRMS for 30 years and did not get worse physicalloy or mentally until I went SPMS after 32 years with MS, then it happened quickly, as got physically worse and mentally worse in less than a year, and it has taperd off as maybe getting phyically worse but it is slow, and mentally I feel stable.
